Los Angeles County

Los Angeles County is the most diverse of the five counties. It includes beautiful beach towns, such as Malibu and Santa Monica, and popular inland suburbs like Pasadena and Inglewood. If you want to be at the center of the typical LA lifestyle, then look no further than downtown Los Angeles or Beverly Hills. Rental prices are on the rise, but there are several choices to pick from.

Orange County

Orange County is directly south of Los Angeles County and is probably best known for its close vicinity to Disneyland Resort. Most of the county is situated along the western coast of California, so the weather is milder than inland counties.

Ventura County

Movie stars and other celebrities make their home in Thousand Oaks, and the tech giants of the world seem to have congregated in Simi Valley. Ventura County is a little outside of the very populated Los Angeles County, which makes it more ideal for people who dislike traffic.

Riverside County

Riverside County has a desert climate that makes for hot summers and cool winters. Its climate allows for some very diverse entertainment options. The city of Temecula boasts wonderful wineries, and Joshua Tree National Park is a lovely camping spot.

San Bernardino County

The fifth county in Greater Los Angeles has many beautiful places to visit too. Bear Mountain is a great spot for Southern Californians to ski or snowboard in the winter months. The county has a smaller population than Riverside and Orange Counties.

Moving in the Greater Los Angeles area presents a lot of different and diverse options. Choose a place that is best for you and your family.
